Preparing For Your Appointment


  • Do not tweeze/wax/pick or tint your eyebrows three days prior to your appointment.


  • Do not tan two weeks prior to the procedure or show up to your appointment with a sunburned face.


  • Do not have any type of facial, chemical peel, microdermabrasion, or laser treatments two weeks prior to your appointment.


  • If you use Botox, it is recommended that you wait at least two weeks from your last treatment before getting microbladed.


  • Discontinue fish oil and vitamin E one week prior to your appointment. 


  • Do not drink alcohol 24-48 hours before your appointment. 


  • Do not work out the day of your appointment.


  • Do not consume caffeine the day of your appointment.


  • Do not take ibuprofen, aspirin, or other types of blood thinners the day of your appointment. 


  • Bring a valid, state issued I.D.


Please come to your appointment with no/minimal makeup on. Cosmetic wipes are available if you are unable to remove your makeup beforehand. Also, please be advised that children are not allowed in the shop and only the person getting microbladed will be allowed in the room while the procedure is taking place.

Other contraindications

 

Microblading cannot be performed if any of the following apply to you:


  • If you are under the age of 18.


  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.


  • If you've been previously microbladed or have had your eyebrows tattooed before (must be approved first).


  • If you've been on Accutane within the past year.


  • If you have a skin condition such as shingles, psoriasis, eczema, or rosacea on the area of treatment.


  • If you currently have a sunburn, cold sore, or a pimple/blemish on the area of treatment.


  • If you are prone to keloids.


  • If you are currently on Retin-A or Retinols or have been within the last three weeks.


  • If you currently take blood thinning medication.


  • If you are currently on antibiotics or have been within the last two weeks.


  • If you have skin cancer or have undergone chemotherapy within the last six months.
